 Because the original song is too popular, and it becomes the first cover of Chinese songs. The band that covers the song is from Denmark, Michael Learns To Rock, they named the song as Take Me To Your Heart, and this band becomes the most famous one in 2004, ten years after the original one.

So, today, I’m going to introduce some famous Chinese songs that has English covers. Come and join me!

First one,  it’s the them song from the movie, More Than Blue. By A-Lin.

It’s covered by Sam Tsui and Madilyn. What’s more special about this song is that, they sing both Chinese and English together, let’s see if you can recognize these two languages.

第一首歌是電影『比悲傷更悲傷的故事More Than Blue 』的主題曲，由A-lin 演唱的”有一種悲傷”。這首翻唱的版本是由Sam Tsui and Madilyn共同演唱。這個版本特別的是，歌詞中同時有中文及英文，這兩種語言在同一首歌聽起來一點都不突兀喔! 你覺得呢?

The song is from Gem, Light years away. And the English cover is from Jasmine Gibson. Guess lots of us have already heard the song, cause it’s quite a big hit. So, it’s not surprising to have the English version. But what about a French version? Let’s listen to it!

這首歌是鄧紫期的光年之外，翻唱自Jasmine Gibson。大部分的同學應該或多或少都有印象吧! 畢竟前幾年，這首歌真的很紅，但紅到可以有英文版的翻唱不意外，但是你沒想到居然有法文版吧! 我們來聽聽看吧!

Have you ever heard this song before? I guess yes. Most people heard this melody some time or other, because it was one of the most viewed music videos on youtube. Over 3 billions? Can you Imagine this number?

 

大家聽過這首歌嗎？我猜很多人聽過，因為這首歌是youtube上觀看次數最多的歌曲之一。觀看次數超過三十憶 實在是很驚人的數字

 

And the composer is Alan walker. and the vocal of this song is Iselin Solheim. Normally people don’t know the composer of a song, only know the singer. However, this kind of song like faded is an edm song. And in edm songs, composers or DJs are more famous and important.

Today, I’m going to tell all of you what EDM is.

這首歌的作者是Alan walker，歌手是Iselin Solheim。通常歌手是比作曲的人更為知名，但這類的歌曲卻不是這樣，這樣的歌曲叫EDM，作曲者或者DJ更為人所知。

 

Electronic dance music, often simplified as EDM, (occasionally referred to as electronica or dance) is a form of electronic music which is meant to be danced to. And is totally different comparing to tradintional music made by musical instrument.

EDM就是電子音樂，當然就是用電子樂器產出的音樂，是用來讓人跳舞的音樂。與用傳統樂器製作的音樂截然不同。

 

Electronic dance music takes many forms and styles. As a genre, it is generally up-tempo music created by electronic software and machines, such as synthesizers, drum machines, keyboards, samplers, sequencers and computers. 電子音樂有很多不同的形式與風格，通常是由電子軟體與機器製作的快節奏音樂。使用的樂器如聲音合成器，鼓機，鍵盤，取樣器，定序器，以及電腦，因此也有用techno來形容電子音樂

 

EDM can be traced back to 1970s. The song which has been credited as bringing EDM into mainstream popular music is Madonna's 1998 single "Ray of Light"

電子音樂的起源可以追溯到1970s，但真正讓她成為主流音樂的是madonna1998的Ray of light.

1.     Sounds cool. I haven’t go camping yet. What do you usually do on camping?

2.     We set up our tent first, then we cook some food for dinner. After dinner, we’ll play board games or roast marshmallows with friends, making s’mores.Then we sleep in the sleeping bags. The next morning, birds chirping will wake us up.

1.     聽起來很酷耶! 我還沒去露營過，那你們去露營都在做什麼呀?

2.     我們會先搭帳篷，然後自己煮晚餐，晚餐過後，我們會跟朋友一起玩桌遊或棉花糖。晚上會睡在睡袋裡，隔天一大早，外面的鳥叫聲會叫我們起床.

2. It’s kind of marshmallow sandwiches. You take a kind of cracker. Then you use chocolate. After you roast the marshmallows, then you put it on that sandwich with the chocolate. And that will become your snack.

2. 那是棉花糖三明治。需要兩片餅乾，一片巧克力。將棉花糖烤過之後，把餅乾夾住棉花糖和巧克力，然後你的點心就大功告成了。

1.     I like camping, too. But I'm afraid of the dangerous wild animals like bears and snakes. Wait, but what if the weather is rainy, what would you do on the holidays?

2.     I like to spend times in the kitchen, making some brownies or cookies.

2.     Sure! No problem.It’s a simple recipe. First, you need to prepare some ingredients.

(1)      2 eggs + 2 tablespoons of water

(2)      Powdered sugar

(3)      Unsweetened cocoa powder

(4)      Oil

(5)      Vanilla Extract

1. 聽起來好棒喔! 我喜歡吃布朗尼，那是我的最愛。你可以跟我分享你的食譜嗎? 拜託!!!

2. 當然沒問題! 那個作法很簡單。首先，你需要準備食材，

(1)      兩顆蛋+兩大湯匙水

(2)      糖粉

(3)      無糖的可可粉

(4)      橄欖油

(5)      香草精

2. First, mix together the dry and wet ingredients in two separate bowls.
Next, combine the wet and dry ingredients.
2. 第一步，將濕的材料及乾的材料分別攪拌均勻放在兩個碗裡。

第二步，把攪拌均勻的材料放到同一個碗裡。

2. Then, pour the batter into an 8×8 inch baking pan lined with parchment paper. 
Finally, bake for 40-48 minutes. Then it’s done.

2. 接下來，將麵糊放到8吋的烤盤裡，裡面放著一張摺好的烤盤紙。

最後，放進烤箱烤40-48分鐘，就完成了!

1.        Wow~ It sounds easy, but I don’t have any oven in my kitchen.
