A：In ancient Egypt,
people believed when they died, their soul will reunite with their body in the
afterlife. However, the trip to their
afterlife is long and dangerous. So they need to do something to preserve their
body in this long trip. 古埃及人相信人死後，在來世他們的靈魂會回到他們的身體，然後，這段通往來世的路程漫長而危險，所以他們的身體必須好好保存免於腐壞。
H：Mummify means to
make a dead person into a mummy. Do you know how long does it take to mummify a

J：Wow! Over two
months. It’s a long time. And there are manys steps people need to do. Here is
the step-by-step process. 哇，要兩個多月，而且有許多步驟要做，以下是製作木乃伊的過程。
1. Insert
a hook through a hole near the nose and pull out part of the brain 要用一個鉤子，由鼻孔進入將腦取出來。A
2. Make
a cut on the left side of the body near the tummy身體左邊的肚子附近切開H
3. Remove
all internal organs 把所有內臟取出J
4. Let
the internal organs dry 要將所有內臟乾燥H

Place the lungs,
intestines, stomach and liver inside jars 將肺、腸、胃及肝臟放在卡諾皮克罐子中A
